Class of 1957
July 15, 2017
What a wonderful and successful day, both weather-wise and because of the number of those of
you who were present to help celebrate the 60th year anniversary of our graduation from Milford
High School, which was closed 34 years ago.
On July 15, 95 people (61 classmates and 34 guests) met at the magnificent property of George
Ward, overlooking Milford Harbor and Long Island Sound.
The festivities commenced at noon with a light luncheon of George Ward's famous hot dogs,
boiled in a pot of beer and saurerkraut.
Ken Nicholas arranged to have 11 members of his classic car club display their vehicles, dating
from 1903-1985, concentrating, however, on the years from 1949 to 1967.
Numerous photos were taken by a professional photographer, including a class shot, which can
soon be viewed on this website.
Between 4-5:00 p.m. a delicious meal of substantial hors d'oeuvres were served by Lasse's
Restaurant & Catering Service, much to the delight of those present.
Our committee will meet in August to critique this year's session and discuss scenarios for future
For those of you who were present on July 15, along with those who could not be present but
ordered Directories, a sincere thank you. Without your participation, our efforts would be for
